Bengal Commercial Bank distributes low interest loans in collaboration with SME Foundation

In collaboration with the SME Foundation, Bengal Commercial Bank (BCB) started disbursing loans to members of Bangladesh Plastic Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BPGMEA) at an incentivized interest rate of 4%.

Mr. Tariq Morshed, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank handed over the loan approval letter to the members of BPGMEA on Wednesday (June 30, 2021) at its head office in Gulshan. The bank’s advisor Shahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director K. M. Awlad Hossain, Head of SME (CRM) Navera Alam, President of BPGMEA Shamim Ahmed along with Senior Vice President and Vice President of the organization were also present during a handover ceremony.

Bengal Commercial Bank also signed an agreement with the SME Foundation on June 14 to provide loan assistance to the CMSME entrepreneurs affected by the epidemic under the incentive package announced by the Honbl. Prime Minister Skeikh Hasina.
