Jamuna Bank provides free health screenings and winter donations

Over 3,800 people received free medicine during the medical camp, while 437 individuals were enrolled in a free eye surgery program.

At the Charmadhua Government Primary School in Raipura, Narsingdi, the Jamuna Bank Foundation has organized free eye, gynaecology, diabetes, paediatrics, and general medical services, as well as blanket distribution among underprivileged and cold-stricken people.

At the medical camp, 3,847 people were treated for free medication, while 437 individuals were recruited for free eye surgery.

Nur Mohammed, Chairman of the Jamuna Bank Executive Committee and the Jamuna Bank Foundation, was the chief guest at the event, according to a news release. The occasion was presided over by Jamuna Bank’s managing director and CEO, Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed.

Special attendees were Deputy Managing Director Md Abdus Salam and Local UP Chairman Md Ahsan Sikder.

There were also senior bank executives and staff there, as well as local dignitaries and a large number of patients.
