‘KFC Swapner Pathshala’ launched for underprivileged children

KFC, a world-renowned fried chicken brand, has launched 'KFC Swapnar Pathshala' to give a joyful education to street children. Transcom Foods Limited operates KFC in Bangladesh. Mojar School and Lido are collaborating to run the school.

This program will be run on an experimental basis for the next six months. Later, KFC is planning to start this school in all the outlets. This information has been given in a press release.

Every morning, KFC’s restaurant will be turned into a classroom. Here, children will be able to learn about English, mathematics, creative subjects, health education and other aspects of the way of life along with primary education. In addition to providing food during classes, KFC is also providing children with books, stationery, school bags and various board games.

Commenting on the initiative, Amit Dev Thapa, CEO, Transcom Foods Limited, said, “KFC Swapnar Pathshala is a long-term project aimed at providing a brighter future to underprivileged children by transforming their lives. We believe that through this initiative, children will be able to take advantage of various benefits as well as build their own character, which will bring good not only for themselves but also for the society. We believe that we are committed to making a difference in the lives of street children by creating opportunities for education. ’
